Synopsis
Toast of Tinseltown (2022) is a British comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Tortured thespian Steven Toast (Matt Berry) abandons London and heads to Hollywood, convinced the film industry has simply failed to notice him so far. Director Michael Cumming delivers the spin-off to Toast of London, dropping the same self-deluded actor into a new city with bigger ambitions and zero self-awareness.
Hollywood does not roll out the welcome mat. Auditions go sideways, the industry greets him with polite bewilderment, and Toast's self-regard only grows. Natasia Demetriou and Joseph May are along for the ride in a sitcom that mines all its comedy from the gap between how Toast sees himself and how everyone else sees him.
