Fola and Josh meet in an airport terminal after their flight gets cancelled — drinks happen, then a hotel room, and by morning they've agreed to call the whole thing a mistake. Both are in relationships. They go their separate ways. Then Josh gets home and finds Fola moving in next door. The show runs on that central absurdity: two people trying to act normal around their partners while living twenty feet apart, carrying the same secret. Kalli Cook and Jack Fox find the right note between cringe and warmth, and the series earns its comedy by playing the situation absolutely straight rather than winking at the audience.
