Ola is a Cairo woman whose life cracks down the middle — a relationship ends, two children to raise, bills that will not wait. Hind Sabry, one of Arabic-language cinema's most recognizable faces, plays a woman who suddenly has to work out who she is without the roles everyone assigned her. The series is unhurried and specific: the texture of middle-class Egyptian daily life, the pressure of family expectations, the strange mixture of fear and freedom that comes with starting over at forty.
