Reginald the Vampire (2022) is a horror comedy series you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Jeremiah S. Chechik. The vampire world in this show is populated by the impossibly attractive and relentlessly vain. Then there is Reginald Andres.

Jacob Batalon plays him: overweight, awkward, bad at his job, unable to talk to the girl he likes — and now, as a freshly turned vampire, facing the same problems plus a chieftain who wants him eliminated. Mandela Van Peebles and Em Haine round out the main cast. The tagline is "Being a hero sucks," and the show commits to that fully. Reginald's powers, when they do surface, are as improbable as everything else about him — which turns out to be exactly the point.
