Synopsis
Daddy Den (2017) is a Russian romantic comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Den and Tina meet at a bar in less-than-ordinary circumstances, and the night follows the no-strings script they both prefer: one date, one evening, no plans for tomorrow.
It suits them perfectly — right up until three kids and a stern older woman barge into the apartment in the middle of their romantic night. After a brief standoff it turns out they're Tina's children and her mother-in-law. And there are fifteen years between Tina and Den. His first instinct is obvious: run, as far as possible. But it isn't that simple — the lifelong bachelor realizes he has actually fallen in love. Olga Morozova plays Tina, with Natalya Nozdrina and Stanislav Tikunov.
Directors Kristina Sivolap and Irina Gromozda build the story out of familiar awkwardness: an instant family, an age gap, and a man who spent his life dodging anything serious and now can't walk away. Light, easygoing evening viewing, rated 18+. Stream Daddy Den (2017) online on iFILM.
