Synopsis
Pan ili Propal (All or Nothing, 2003) is a comic whodunit you can watch online on iFILM. Adapted from Joanna Chmielewska's novel "All Red," it drops the viewer into a cozy villa outside Copenhagen right in the middle of the Christmas holidays.
A Polish hostess welcomes a noisy crowd of friends and relatives, each carrying a private secret or two. The festivities collapse on the very first evening: one of the guests is stabbed with an exotic shamanic harpoon. From there the whole thing turns gleefully absurd — the police run themselves ragged while an unseen attacker keeps stubbornly picking off the others. Nobody can guess who's next.
Elena Safonova, Larisa Udovichenko, Tatyana Kravchenko, Vitaly Solomin and Sergei Zhigunov shine in the chaos. The humor here comes from character, not corpses: everyone suspects everyone, panics at the wrong moments, and untangles murders between toasts.
