Kolya has one ambition: to make his own film. What he has is an archive job at the studio — sorting reels, cataloguing old prints, counting down the hours. The Belarusfilm short-film festival changes his calculus. The jury includes Yuri Stoyanov, the actor known from the long-running sketch show Gorodok. Kolya enters, starts shooting, and watches every step of his plan fall apart in ways he didn't write. Stanislaw Pekarski, Vladislav Solodov, Lolita Taborko, and Yuri Tsvyrko round out the cast of this warm, self-aware comedy about ambition and the gap between cinematic dreams and studio reality.
