Synopsis
Komnata starinnykh klyuchey ("The Room of Antique Keys," 2019) is a Russian mystery series you can watch online on iFILM. At its heart sits Anjey Kovalsky, a man with no traceable past who lives in a mansion built like a fairy-tale castle. One room there holds shelves of old keys, and rumor says each one can unlock a way out of someone's trouble.
His method looks absurd. He listens to a visitor, picks a key from the collection without a word, and somehow the client's problem soon untangles on its own. Magic, or a very sharp read of people? Detectives Makar Ilyushin and Sergey Babkin arrive among the other guests, but not for help — Anjey has hired them to find a steward who vanished without a trace. The real puzzle, though, lies elsewhere, and cracking Kovalsky himself means digging into a past he has buried for years. Directed by Anton Pavlyuchik and led by Evgeny Pronin, Aleksey Vakulov and Vladimir Kolganov, it suits viewers who like detective work laced with a little mysticism.
