The Good Karma Hospital (2017) is a British drama series you can watch online on iFILM. Junior doctor Ruby Walker, played by Amrita Acharia, leaves London after a bad breakup and takes a placement at a small coastal hospital in South India.

The facility is barely holding together — too few staff, too little equipment, and far too many patients. Running it is Dr. Lydia Fonseca, an eccentric Englishwoman who has spent years making the impossible work. Amanda Redman plays her with the kind of settled authority that makes you understand why nobody argues with her. Neil Morrissey and Darshan Jariwala round out the core team.
