Mikhail Trukhin and Anna Ukolova play the modest, cash-strapped Ivanovs who discover their son has been growing up in a wealthy household — and that their flesh and blood has had every advantage they couldn't afford. The two families circle each other with a mix of resentment, bewilderment, and grudging curiosity.
