Synopsis
Season 5 of Agatha Christie's Poirot (1989) is back to bite-sized mysteries — watch online on iFILM. Eight standalone episodes drawn from Christie's short stories, each a self-contained hour after the feature-length fourth season.
The range is wide. A curse stalking an Egyptian dig and an archaeologist dead the moment the tomb is opened. Stolen pearls at a seaside hotel, a will that vanishes, a poisoned glass at the anniversary dinner of someone else's death. The standout is The Chocolate Box, where Poirot heads back to Brussels and reopens a case from twenty years earlier, when he was still a young policeman — a rare look at his past. Hastings, Miss Lemon and Inspector Japp are all on hand, and nearly every episode builds its own little world of suspects.
