12+Season 9
Synopsis
Looking to watch Agatha Christie's Poirot Season 9 (1989) online? iFILM has all four episodes of this British detective series starring David Suchet. The 2003 run, where every entry plays as its own feature-length adaptation of a Christie novel.
Four cases, four very different worlds. "Five Little Pigs" sends the Belgian detective sixteen years into the past: a daughter asks him to reopen the poisoning of her painter father, and every suspect is still breathing. "Sad Cypress" puts young Elinor Carlisle in the dock for a murder the evidence pins squarely on her. Then comes "Death on the Nile" — a honeymoon cruise, a wealthy heiress, and a jilted friend with every reason for revenge. The season closes on "The Hollow," where a country-house weekend ends with a shooting inside a deeply unhappy family.
This is Poirot at his most psychological — jealousy, inheritance, love triangles driving people to kill rather than car chases or gunfights. Suchet works each solution calmly and precisely, this time without Hastings at his side. If you love golden-age mysteries and a 1930s mood, season 9 lines up four solid puzzles back to back.
