The camera trails the crew of Miss Piggy's late-night talk show. Kermit has officially broken up with her, yet he's still stuck producing her program, so every workday is an awkward run-in with an ex. Fozzie struggles through dating, Gonzo and Rizzo cook up schemes, and Piggy throws full diva tantrums whenever a segment goes sideways. Strip away the puppets and it's a workplace comedy about coworkers who can't quite stand each other.
The tone runs noticeably more grown-up than the old Muppet Show — more wry jokes about relationships and showbiz, fewer kid-friendly sketches.
