Synopsis
All the Real Girls (2003) is a tender indie romance you can watch online on iFILM. In a sleepy North Carolina mill town, Paul (Paul Schneider) is the local heartbreaker. Then his best friend's sister comes home from boarding school.
Noel is played by Zooey Deschanel in one of her first leading roles. She's younger, sheltered, and everyone agrees Paul is wrong for her, her furious brother most of all. Here's the catch: this is the first time the town Romeo truly falls in love, and he has no idea how to do it right. Director David Gordon Green works in long pauses and awkward silences rather than big melodramatic beats. An aching, unhurried look at first real love and how easily a careless word cracks it.
