The snakes and gators grow to absurd sizes and start levelling anything in their path. The real draw is the casting: 1980s pop rivals Tiffany and Debbie Gibson play the two feuding women whose decisions caused the mess, and Micky Dolenz of The Monkees shows up for good measure. Mary Lambert, who directed Pet Sematary back in 1989, keeps the whole thing moving at a clip. This one knows exactly what it is — loud, campy, cheerfully ridiculous — and delivers on all counts.
