I Wish

I Wish (奇跡, 2011) is a Japanese drama you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Hirokazu Kore-eda.

After their parents' divorce, twelve-year-old Koichi ends up with his mother in Kagoshima while his younger brother Ryunosuke stays with their father in Fukuoka. A new bullet-train line is being laid between the two cities. Word spreads among the local kids: when the two inaugural trains pass each other at full speed, the energy released at the crossing will grant a single wish. Koichi's plan is simple — reach that spot and wish his family back together.
