Synopsis
Goodbye to Language (Adieu au langage, 2014) — watch online Jean-Luc Godard's 3D experimental film, which took the Jury Prize at Cannes and runs 70 minutes without anything resembling conventional storytelling.
A man and a woman meet, argue, and part. A dog moves between them and between town and country. Godard splits the 3D image so each eye receives a different frame, layers quotations from Dostoyevsky and Schopenhauer against news footage, and treats language itself as a thing that has broken down.
