One Hour with You

André tries to say no. He does not succeed. Mitzi's husband has hired a private investigator; a scandal is building — until Colette's own extracurricular admirer changes the moral geometry entirely. Lubitsch runs the whole farce with characters breaking into song and addressing the camera directly, treating mutual infidelity as social comedy rather than domestic tragedy.
