Synopsis
The Oh in Ohio (2006) is a grown-up romantic comedy you can watch online in good quality. Priscilla (Parker Posey), a polished Cleveland professional, has a good job and a steady marriage and exactly one problem: at 35 she has never once climaxed. When she finally cracks, she pins the blame on her husband Jack (Paul Rudd), and the two agree to step apart for a while.
Each of them goes looking on their own. Jack, a high-school teacher, stumbles into an affair with a student crushing on him (Mischa Barton), while Priscilla discovers self-pleasure, sex shops, and a deadpan new suitor — a pool-supply salesman played by Danny DeVito. Liza Minnelli turns up as a brassy guru of female satisfaction who takes Priscilla under her wing.
Director Billy Kent keeps things light around a subject most movies mumble through. The real draw is Posey, who carries the film on dry, faintly embarrassed comedy instead of crude jokes or lectures. It's a treat for fans of indie rom-coms stocked with character actors. Stream The Oh in Ohio (2006) online on iFILM.
