Synopsis
The Night Strangler (1973) — a TV horror-mystery you can watch online on iFILM, and the second outing for reporter Carl Kolchak, played by Darren McGavin. Director Dan Curtis got the sequel out in just over a year.
Chased out of Las Vegas, Kolchak lands in Seattle with a new job at a newspaper run by his old editor Vincenzo. The city has a problem. Young women are being killed at night, each left with a puncture wound to the skull and traces of decayed tissue on their necks. The police aren't interested. Kolchak is. He digs, and what he finds is worse: the same pattern of murders has hit Seattle roughly every 21 years for the past century.
