Synopsis

Kit Preston hears the voice in the fog and again down the telephone line, always promising murder. The trouble is proof: her husband (Rex Harrison), her friends and the police all doubt her, and before long Kit begins to wonder whether she's losing her own grip on reality.
Doris Day, best known for breezy comedies, plays sharply against type here, fraying between terror and paranoia in the vein of Gaslight. Myrna Loy and a young Roddy McDowall round out the cast.
