Synopsis
The Band of Honest Men (La banda degli onesti, 1956) is an Italian comedy starring Totò and Peppino De Filippo — watch online on iFILM. A Rome apartment building's doorman inherits a dying tenant's secret: stolen printing plates and paper from the national mint, with a deathbed request to destroy them.
He can't bring himself to do it. Instead he recruits two equally debt-ridden friends, and the three men start printing counterfeit money. The problem is that they are, at heart, honest people — and quietly spending fake banknotes without drawing attention turns out to be far more stressful than making them.
