Stander

Early on, Stander helps crush township protests and guns down an unarmed man in the street — and that single shot breaks something in him for good. To strike back at the system he served, he starts robbing banks by night while still investigating heists by day, sometimes turning up at a scene that's already his own work. Two accomplices soon join him, and the trio becomes the country's most brazen gang. Director Bronwen Hughes is less interested in the chases than in guilt and the hypocrisy of the regime; Dexter Fletcher and David O'Hara round out the cast.
