Hallelujah!

Mario Diccara walks out of prison after a seven-year stretch only to find his debts to the criminal underworld still very much open. His brother Patrick, a priest, hides him away in a sleepy village in the Ardèche under the care of an elderly curate, Father Etienne. Then the old man dies, and the ex-con has to pose as the village's new priest.
