Synopsis

Baptiste can copy anyone's voice — pitch-perfect, no hesitation. The problem is that the world doesn't pay for that skill. Then a famous but reclusive novelist, Pierre Chozène, comes to him with a proposition: take his calls for him. The publisher, the ex-wife, the daughter — none of them should know they're speaking to someone else. Pierre wants silence to finish his most ambitious book; Baptiste wants steady work. Simple enough. Except the longer Baptiste talks as Pierre, the more the borrowed identity takes hold, and what started as ventriloquism slowly becomes something closer to an identity crisis.
