Synopsis

Arindam (Uttam Kumar) is a movie star in the middle of a quiet unraveling. A scandal in the morning papers, a last film that disappointed, an award ceremony waiting at the end of the line. On board he meets Aditi (Sharmila Tagore), a journalist who planned to write an exposé and finds herself, instead, actually listening. Arindam begins to talk and can't stop.
Ray was honored with an Academy Award in 1992 and won at Berlin three times; Nayak is frequently cited among his most intimate films.
