Four days. A dog named Truman. Ricardo Darín and Javier Cámara play men in their fifties who talk around the hard things the way old friends do — until they don't. The film is quiet in the way that actually costs something to watch: no melodrama, no swelling score at every emotional beat, just two actors who know exactly when to push and when to go still. Darín in particular does more with a pause than most performers manage with a monologue.
