Synopsis

Tag (2015) is a Japanese horror-action film you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Sion Sono and based on Yusuke Yamada's novel — a surreal, blood-soaked ride through parallel realities and fractured identity.

High-schooler Mitsuko is the only one left alive after a catastrophic event wipes out her entire class. Before she can process what happened, the world around her starts shifting. She wakes into different lives, different bodies, different versions of herself — each one hunted by something she cannot see or name. The film keeps rewriting its own logic, and the ground never stays solid for long.

Sono's approach is deliberately disorienting: this is not a straightforward slasher but closer to a feminist nightmare with an action movie's body count. Genre boundaries dissolve. Viewers used to clean narrative arcs may find it infuriating; those open to Japanese arthouse horror will find a lot to unpack. Stream Tag (2015) online on iFILM.
