A team of scientists flies to a Pacific atoll to measure weapons-test fallout. Their plane blows up on approach. Stranded on an island that keeps shrinking — giant mutant crabs are eating the ground from under their feet. Worse, the crabs absorb the minds of the dead and speak with their voices. Richard Garland and Pamela Duncan lead a cast with exactly one box of dynamite and nowhere to run.
