Synopsis

Gaspard arrives at the seaside to wait for Léna, the girl he thinks he loves. She's slow to show up. In the meantime he meets Margot — an ethnology student working summer shifts as a waitress, easy to talk to about anything. Then there's Solène, a different kind of pull entirely. By the time Léna actually arrives, Gaspard has managed to complicate his life considerably without doing much at all.
Rohmer shot on natural light with long, unhurried conversations, and that's exactly the point: this is a film about the specific uncertainty of being young and not knowing what you want.
