Meadowland

Meadowland (2015) is an American drama you can watch online on iFILM. Sarah and Phil's young son vanishes without a trace, and a year on the grief is still eating both of them alive.

They cope in opposite directions, and both come apart. Phil, a New York cop, loses his moral footing and drifts toward a support group of equally broken fathers. Sarah, a schoolteacher, simply stops feeling fear — she courts dangerous strangers, tries drugs, latches onto a troubled teenage boy and walks into situations she might not walk back out of. Olivia Wilde and Luke Wilson play the unraveling couple, with Elisabeth Moss, Juno Temple, John Leguizamo and Giovanni Ribisi around them.

This is the directorial debut of Reed Morano, a cinematographer by trade who would later shoot the Handmaid's Tale pilot, and it shows: handheld, soft-focus, the kind of camerawork that makes someone else's grief feel physical.
