Synopsis
Ma famille t'adore déjà ! (2016) is a French comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Julien, a mild-mannered smartphone-app developer, heads off to meet his fiancée's family — and really shouldn't count on a quiet weekend.
Eva (Déborah François) brings him to the Île de Ré to meet her flawless-looking parents, with Thierry Lhermitte as the patriarch. It takes about two days for the polished façade to crack: behind the polite smiles sit debts, grudges and buried secrets, and shy Julien ends up the accidental fuse that sets them all off. Director and co-writer Jérôme Commandeur, who also turns up on screen, keeps things breezy and unfussy. An easy farce for a night when you just want to laugh without thinking too hard.
