Synopsis

Plastic Guns (Les Pistolets en plastique, 2024) — watch online on iFILM. French director Jean-Christophe Meurisse builds his films from ordinary situations that slide sideways into something darker and stranger. Here: a man on a trip to Denmark is arrested and charged with killing his wife and three children.

He says he didn't do it. The investigation drags. Nobody in the room believes him, and the film keeps a cool distance from him too — neither inside his head nor fully sympathetic. Jonathan Cohen, Laurent Stocker and Romane Bohringer lead the cast through Meurisse's flat, deadpan register, where crime drama and bleak comedy share the same surface.
