A Perfect Family (Idealnaya semya, 2020) is a Russian comedy series you can watch online on iFILM. Aleksei heads a big, broke household, drowning in a mortgage and bills he can't cover. When trouble far worse than debt closes in, he picks the most ridiculous hiding place imaginable for his wife and kids: the set of a reality show.

The deal is simple and impossible — spend four months on camera playing the warm, well-adjusted family they have never actually been. There's a lavish villa outside Moscow, a live audience vote, and rival "families" next door who will stoop to anything for the grand prize. Off-script, the real grudges, secrets and ready-to-blow arguments keep surfacing, and now the whole country is watching. Pavel Derevyanko carries the chaos as the hapless dad, while Olga Medynich plays a wife slowly realising what she's been dragged into.

Directed by Vladimir Kott, the show runs on the recognisable panic of ordinary people cornered, not on gags. It's satire aimed at trash TV, mortgage-sized adult problems and the cult of looking successful — brisk and unpretentious.
