Synopsis
United States of Al (2021) is a CBS comedy series you can watch online on iFILM. Marine combat veteran Riley (Parker Young) is back in Ohio, struggling to piece together a life after multiple tours in Afghanistan. His Afghan interpreter Al (Adhir Kalyan) has just landed in America — and moves straight into Riley's house.
The two couldn't be more different. Riley is stuck; Al is relentlessly forward-looking about the country that Riley now barely recognizes. Dean Norris plays Riley's father, Elizabeth Alderfer his sister, and the family scenes carry as much weight as the fish-out-of-water comedy.
