Synopsis
Your Honor (Euer Ehren, 2022) is an Austrian-German crime thriller to watch online on iFILM. Judge Michael Jacobi of Innsbruck has spent his career putting mob figures behind bars. Then his son Julian hits a motorcyclist at night and flees the scene.
Jacobi finds out immediately. He puts Julian in the car and drives straight to the police station — and turns on the radio on the way. The man in hospital is the son of a Serbian crime boss whose trial Jacobi is currently presiding over. Walking into that police station might be the last thing either of them ever does. Sebastian Koch (The Lives of Others) leads the cast alongside Taddeo Kufus and Paula Beer.
Directed by David Nawrath, this is the German-language adaptation of the Israeli original Kvodo — the same premise that powered the Bryan Cranston version. What makes it work: guilt is established in the opening scene, and every episode after that is a slow-motion pressure cooker built around one impossible choice.
