Synopsis
Bespokoynyy Uchastok (2014) is a Russian detective drama you can watch online on iFILM. Svetlana Antonova stars as Tatyana Petrova, a senior neighborhood police officer. On the surface it is routine duty — rowdy teenagers, family quarrels, petty theft. Underneath all of it sits one private mission.
Tatyana once handled major cases as an investigator. Everything changed in a single day, when her daughter vanished during a walk in the park. Unable to accept it, she walked away from her career, moved to a different district and took a beat-cop posting so she could search for the girl on her own ground. She gets help from a former colleague at the prosecutor's office and from Vladimir Naumov (Aleksandr Naumov), an Investigative Committee officer quietly in love with her. Along the way she cracks cases an ordinary patrol officer would never even look at twice.
