Synopsis
Cicadas (Цикады, 2023) is a Russian drama you can watch online on iFILM. Three young couples — Anton and Alina, Mark and Sonya, Alex and Katya — are barely out of school and just tasting adult life: falling in love, dreaming, mapping out the future. Then one party ends in tragedy, and the easy summer is over.

The deeper they dig, the more surfaces — buried grudges, lies, hidden lives behind faces everyone thought they understood. The teenagers are scared and contradict each other, while the adults finally ask the honest question: did they ever know their own children at all? The series leans on the gap between generations rather than detective mechanics — every character holds a private truth, and none of them line up. The 18+ rating fits; this one offers no comfort.
