Synopsis
Liiive (2024) is a Russian prehistoric comedy you can watch online on iFILM, headlined by Mikhail Galustyan. Thirty-three thousand years ago, the Chief's tribe scrapes by in a primeval forest on a grim riverbank, fighting daily for food, water and survival.
Life is sweeter across the water. The rival tribe, led by a fierce matriarch, enjoys endless sunshine, plenty of game and not a predator in sight. When one of the Chief's hunters bolts for the better-off neighbors, the rest start to follow — and the leader risks losing his whole tribe. The Stone Age here is pure goofball territory: clubs, furs and thoroughly modern squabbles over a spot in the sun. Galustyan's trademark clowning sets the tone for the whole circus.
