The Nurse (Season 1)

The Nurse (2018) is a Russian detective drama series — watch it online on iFILM. Young nurse Katya (Alexandra Vlasova) is brought in to care for Anatoly Shubin (Yuri Belyaev), a terminally ill businessman living in a large country estate. His family presents a united front in public; in private, each member has long since calculated their share of the inheritance.

Shubin refuses to speak to any of his relatives — but talks freely to Katya. His explanation is unexpected: he knew her father, and holds himself responsible for the man's death. He has added Katya to his will, which transforms her from a hired carer into a target inside a household where everyone has something to gain. Directed by Stanislav Nazirov.
