Synopsis
"The Sea Wolf" (1941) is an adventure drama you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Michael Curtiz and based on Jack London's 1904 novel. Edward G. Robinson stars as the murderous captain Wolf Larsen.
Humphrey Van Weyden survives a shipwreck and gets hauled aboard the Ghost, a fishing vessel Larsen runs like a private empire. The man is physically overwhelming and philosophically ruthless — he has read widely and uses it as a justification for cruelty. Ida Lupino and John Garfield are also on board, escapees with their own reasons to fear him.
