Synopsis
Fierce Creatures (1997) is a British-American comedy you can watch online on iFILM — reuniting the full cast of A Fish Called Wanda: John Cleese, Jamie Lee Curtis, Kevin Kline and Michael Palin. Directors Robert Young and Fred Schepisi handed the quartet a new playground: a struggling London zoo bought by a ruthless New Zealand media tycoon.
Ex-cop Rollo Lee is parachuted in to run Marwood Zoo with one instruction — hit the profit targets or shut it down. His solution: only fearsome, deadly creatures on display. The keepers, led by bug specialist Bugsy, quietly refuse to go along. The boss's son and his polished sidekick arrive to oversee the deal, and the plan starts unravelling fast.
The film runs on the same screwball chemistry that made Wanda work — Kline in a double role as father and son is the clear standout, swinging between menace and slapstick with barely a breath between.
