TV-PGSynopsis
Red Dwarf (1988), Season 2 is the BBC space sitcom you can watch online on iFILM — six episodes following the last human alive, a hologram, a creature evolved from a cat, and a computer with a face, all adrift three million years from Earth.
This run pushes the crew out of their cramped quarters and into stranger trouble. A distress beacon leads them to a crashed shuttle and Kryten, a service droid too polite to disobey anyone. Rimmer's father dies and leaves him an £8,500 tax bill. Lister and Cat wake up after a wild night with broken legs and zero memory of how. Then comes a leak in time, a mutiny by the backup computer Queeg, and a trip into a parallel universe where everyone meets their opposite.
Writers Rob Grant and Doug Naylor have the tone locked in now: looser, weirder, funnier, still cheerfully hopeless. Where the first season introduced these misfits, this one lets the universe around them grow. Stream Red Dwarf Season 2 online on iFILM.
