Aragami

Aragami (荒神, 2003) is a Japanese samurai fantasy-action film you can watch online on iFILM. Director Ryûhei Kitamura shot it in eight days on a bet with a fellow filmmaker — a deliberately stripped-down exercise that turned into one of the more unusual genre films of that year.

Two badly wounded samurai take shelter in a mountain temple. One dies in the night. The other wakes to find his wounds have closed without a scar. The temple's quiet inhabitant explains: he is Aragami, a god of war who was once the legendary swordsman Miyamoto Musashi, now an immortal who has spent centuries looking for someone worth fighting.
