Synopsis
9 Month Stretch (9 Mois ferme, 2013) is a French dark comedy — watch online on iFILM. Ariane has no personal life by design — she works, she rules, she goes home alone. Then this. Sandrine Kiberlain plays her with a controlled, dry bewilderment that never tips into slapstick, which is exactly the right call. Dupont el's Bob is a small-time thief who is somehow both threatening and genuinely confused about how any of this happened. The two of them trying to make sense of the situation while the law swirls around them is where the film lives.
Dupont el has a consistent sensibility — absurdist setups that never stop caring about the people inside them. 9 Month Stretch is one of his sharper entries. Stream it in good quality on iFILM.
