Synopsis

Graveyard Shift (1990) is a Stephen King horror adaptation you can watch online on iFILM. Directed by Ralph S. Singleton, the film takes one of King's shorter Maine stories — a rat-infested textile mill with something worse living underneath — and builds it into a creature feature that earns its grimy atmosphere.

John Hall (David Andrews) drifts into a small town and takes what he can get: a spot on the overnight crew hired to clean out decades of filth from a crumbling factory basement. The rats are bad. There are thousands of them and they have no fear. But the deeper the workers dig beneath the building, the clearer it becomes that the infestation is the least of their problems. Brad Dourif plays an exterminator teetering on the edge of something, and he makes every scene feel genuinely unpredictable in a way the rest of the cast doesn't quite manage.

The original King story works as a punch — tight and nasty. The film stretches the premise to feature length with uneven results, but the underground finale delivers what horror audiences showed up for. Stream Graveyard Shift (1990) online on iFILM.
