Human

Human (2015) is a French documentary by Yann Arthus-Bertrand — stream it online on iFILM. Filmed across three years in 60 countries, the project gathered first-person testimonies from two thousand people: refugees, farmers, survivors, convicts, lovers, elders. Their words are cut against sweeping aerial footage of Earth shot from helicopters and drones. The full runtime runs just over three hours.

Nobody in the film is named. Just faces, voices, and landscapes — people speaking directly to camera about grief, violence, belonging, joy and the quiet weight of being alive. A man in West Africa talks about losing his child. A woman in Russia describes what love felt like the first time. The film asks nothing and argues nothing.
