The Makeover

"The Makeover" (2013) is a Hallmark comedy you can watch online on iFILM — directed by John Gray, adapted from George Bernard Shaw's "Pygmalion" with the genders flipped. Hannah Higgins (Julia Stiles), a polished Boston politician, decides that blue-collar beer vendor Elliot Doolittle (David Walton) is the congressional candidate she needs, once she's rebuilt him from the ground up.

Hannah is precise and unsentimental; Elliot is unguarded and genuinely decent. The expected friction arrives on schedule, and so does the thaw.
