Tillman died in Afghanistan in 2004. The Pentagon's immediate account made him a hero cut down by enemy fire. The actual cause — fire from soldiers in his own unit — was concealed for years while the Army built a public narrative around his name. His mother Mary, his wife Marie, and his brother Richard refused the official version and pushed for a real investigation. Josh Brolin narrates.
