Synopsis

Elena locks her apartment door every night. Her husband Ricardo — a Republican, now a fugitive — hides inside. Maribel Verdú plays Elena as a woman who has narrowed her entire life down to a single task: keeping Ricardo alive. The threat sharpens when a zealous young seminarian named Brother Salvador begins appearing at the apartment to tutor her son.
